Do you love cats? You’ll LOVE this corner to corner Crochet Cat Arm blanket! This is a free C2C crochet pattern that is fun to work up and that all cat lovers will adore. Grab your yarn and your hook and let’s make a cute cat blanket!

Cat Arm Blanket crochet pattern

C2C Crochet Cat Arm Blanket

This cat arm blanket came after I published a similar one but for dogs. The paw print kennel blanket has been super popular and the same day there were requests for a feline version. 🐈‍⬛

I wanted this  paw blanket to depict how cats like to swipe things off the counter, or to push things a little too far. Hence the cat arm, coming to get ya! Haha!

For this C2C cat crochet blanket we are using two colors of Brava Worsted weight yarn for the background with your favorite shade of variegated yarn for the toe beans. This is “Black” and “Dove Heather” of Brava Worsted with a variegated from my stash which is “Kaleidoscope” in I Love This Yarn.

You can use any brand or colors of worsted weight yarn to crochet a blanket about the same size as mine. Other great yarn options include Vanna’s ChoiceMary Maxim Value yarn, Red Heart, or your favorite worsted weight acrylic.

Materials:

Brava Worsted weight yarn in two colors
-approx. 600 yards WHITE (as in chart)
-approx. 450 yards BLACK (as in chart)
Worsted weight variegated yarn for Toe Beans (ILTY in Kaleidoscope pictured)
-approx. 180 yards

Crochet hook in size I/5.5mm

Gauge: unimportant, but each block should measure approx. ¾” (19mm) for a 36” square blanket

Dimensions: approx. 36″ square

Pattern notes:

Pattern written using US terms.

Use the Ch5/Ch2 method for creating the C2C to keep the gaps between the blocks smaller. See what I mean in my Corner to Corner video tutorial here.
